COVID-19 Shutdown announcement

Dear clients,

Happy Easter!

Please let your cleaner know if you qualify as a vulnerable individual so she knows she can continue to clean for you this month. I'm afraid everyone else will have to wait for May!

More on that below, and about our cleaning shutdown and continued covid-19 protocol once Ontario is open again.

Well here we are! Hopefully the last shutdown. Everyone has been working so hard to follow the restrictions over the last year, and it's too bad the more infectious and deadly strains are taking over as they are even harder to avoid getting! Thankfully the vaccines are just as effective against the new strain as the old and those who are vaccinated can look forward to gathering indoors together!

We can continue to clean for vulnerable individuals:

  • Older adults (increasing risk with each decade, especially over 60 years).
  • People of any age with chronic medical conditions including:
    • lung disease
    • heart disease
    • hypertension (high blood pressure)
    • diabetes
    • kidney disease
    • liver disease
    • dementia
    • stroke
  • People of any age who are immunocompromised, including those:
    • with an underlying medical condition (e.g., cancer)
    • taking medications that lower the immune system (e.g., chemotherapy)
  • People living with obesity (BMI of 40 or higher).
We can also clean for essential businesses, daycares, front line workers, and situations where children would be put at risk if we didn't clean for you. All other clients will have to wait until May!

    COVID-19 cleaning protocol

We continue to request that our clients and anyone in the house during Cleaning wear a mask at ALL TIMES, unless they are in a room or floor of the house that will not be cleaned. The new virus variants are much more transmissible then the COVID-19 strain the whole world was facing this time last year, as well as being more deadly. I ask you follow our mask request so our cleaners don't have your safety or risk to worry if they develop symptoms! It is very important that they not have the added stress of possibly having put you at risk by being in your home, or the fear that they might have been put at risk because they were around unmasked individuals indoors. Social distancing indoors is no longer enough, masks are a must!
    Thank you!
If you have had the good fortune to be vaccinated, you may go maskless, but our cleaners will still wear theirs.
We will return to cleaning for all our clients (hopefully) as soon as May shows its pretty face!
Good health to you and yours!
